Last week, on 23rd September the Autumn Equinox occurred. This marked the official astronomical start of Autumn, my favourite season of the year.
The hours of daylight and night time were equal in length- a perfect balance between light and darkness on our planet.
Of course, this is not random but under the control of our Sovereign Creator God.
The prophet Daniel wrote centuries ago:
“He changes times and seasons”
(Daniel 2:21 NIV)
God is behind the precision and beauty of nature:
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.“
(Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV)
Our God remains constant through changing seasons. He is the ‘Great Unchangeable I AM, the King of glory and of grace’

We can trust Him through each season of our life, no matter what changes are sprung upon us, no matter what shifts in our days.
