Sometimes it’s good to read old familiar words in a physical book, rather than digitally. I read these comforting words in my well loved Bible :
“Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”
(Psalms 90:1-2 NIV)
Psalm 90 was written by Moses, making it the oldest Psalm in the Bible.
Moses’ words remind us that our God was before the beginning and will be there after the ending (as well as all the days in between!)
He is our shelter, our dwelling place through it all. We are safe and secure in God. We can trust in Him day by day- today, tomorrow and forever.
